This 8 x 22 x 7 mm (S608-ZZ) bearing is a metric deep groove ball bearing. The S608-ZZ inner diameter is 8 mm, the S608-ZZ outer diameter is 22 mm, the S608-ZZ width is 7 mm.
The balls are made of Si3N4 Silicon Nitride ceramic.Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) ceramic bearings are 30% lighter than steel and 40% stronger. They have an incredible maximum spin rating of 300,000 rpm under load. These bearings are great for fishing reels and other applications that require fast spinning rate and resistant for rust and corrosion. Librication is generally not required with ceramic bearings.
